The steps outlined for you below will guide you through the online Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) application process. If you encounter any difficulties while you are completing your FAFSA, please call the Federal Processing Center at 1-800-4FEDAID (800-433-3243) for assistance.

Step 1. Apply for a FSA ID
Go to  to apply for a Federal Student Aid ID (FSA ID) to electronically sign your FAFSA. If you are a dependent student, your parent will also need to apply for a FSA ID.

Step 2. File a FAFSA
